Payclock

Install on a device

Payclock is a home-screen web app. The counter tablet uses a 4-digit PIN. Personal phones can punch with Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint after one PIN enrollment.

Physical punch device

Use a tablet at the counter. Open this shop’s station link, then Add to Home Screen. The icon is named Payclock and opens the pin pad — staff only enter four digits.

  1. Sign in as a manager and copy the station link from Settings.
  2. Open that link on the tablet (Safari on iPad, Chrome on Android).
  3. Add to Home Screen. Open the icon. Staff enter a 4-digit PIN.

iPhone and Android

Send each person the same station link. They add it to the home screen from that page (not the public homepage). The icon opens the pin pad. After one PIN punch they can save Face ID or fingerprint on that phone.

iPhone / iPad — Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. Need the visual walkthrough? Use the iOS install guide.

Android — Chrome → menu → Add to Home screen / Install app.

Biometrics

Face ID, Touch ID, and Android fingerprints work through the phone’s secure unlock — the same APIs banks use. They identify the person on that phone, so they belong on personal devices, not the shared counter tablet.

Native App Store listings aren’t part of this preview. Home-screen apps are the supported path for both phones and the counter tablet.
